I speak tech.
I speak finance.
Christopher Baker — SDSU Fowler Scholar, AI systems builder, and founder of Advisor Intelligence.
The Story
Two worlds. One person.
I started building software at 13. Shopify stores, automation systems, resale businesses — the kind of projects that teach you how technology creates leverage.
I also studied finance. Not just in a classroom — I understand compliance fears, workflow pain, client communication challenges, and the pressure of running an advisory practice. Most technologists can't speak that language. I can.
That's what Advisor Intelligence started as: an AI toolkit I kept wishing existed for the advisors I was working with. But working with advisors directly, I realized something: what advisors really need isn't another tool. It's someone who understands both their world and the technology — and can bridge the gap.

So that's what I do now. Monthly AI consulting for financial advisors. I audit your AI setup, build custom workflows, train your team, and keep you current. The toolkit comes included. The real value is the relationship.
The Bilingual Advantage
I speak two languages.
Not Spanish and English — technology and finance. Here's the difference.
What an AI consultant says
What I say
“We'll implement RAG-based retrieval pipelines”
“I'll set up AI that actually knows your clients”
“Let's fine-tune an LLM on your corpus”
“I'll train the AI to sound like your firm”
“We need to optimize your prompt engineering”
“I'll write the instructions so AI gives you better answers”
“We'll deploy a multi-agent orchestration layer”
“I'll connect your tools so they work together automatically”
The IT Analogy
In the 1990s, businesses didn't hire full-time IT departments. They brought in someone who came in periodically, checked the systems, fixed problems, and gave recommendations.
That's what I do — but for AI.
AI is the new IT. You don't need to hire a full-time AI person. You need someone who understands your practice, stays current on the technology, and shows up regularly to keep you ahead.

Values
What I believe.
Build, don’t talk.
I built the toolkit before I asked anyone to look at it. I show results, not slide decks.
Honest over impressive.
I won’t fabricate metrics or exaggerate credentials. When I don’t know something, I’ll say so — then I’ll figure it out.
The same person everywhere.
I’m the same person on a Zoom call with a $500M advisor as I am grabbing coffee with a friend. Trustworthy. Friendly. Direct.
