Terms of Service

1. What This Service Does

Advisor Intelligence ("we," "us," "our") provides an AI-powered productivity toolkit for financial advisors. The platform generates personalized prompt templates, content drafts, and workflow tools using artificial intelligence.

What we are: A productivity and coaching tool that helps financial advisors work more efficiently.

What we are NOT: A financial advisory firm, law firm, accounting firm, or compliance consultant. We do not provide investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, or compliance guidance.

2. Who Can Use This Service

You must be at least 18 years old, a financial services professional (or someone exploring the profession), and agreeing to these terms on your own behalf (not on behalf of a firm, unless you have authority to do so). By creating an account, you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

• You sign up using Google OAuth or email/password authentication
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure
• One person per account — don't share login credentials
• We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

5. How You Can Use the Service

You CAN: Generate content for your own professional use, edit and adapt generated content, use generated content with clients after your own review and approval, and share output with your team (if on a Team plan).

You CANNOT: Resell or white-label generated content as a competing service, use the platform to generate fraudulent or misleading content, reverse-engineer or extract our prompt templates, use automated tools to access the service, use the service for any illegal purpose, or misrepresent AI-generated content as human-written when disclosure is required.

6. Pricing

• The platform is currently free during early access
• We plan to introduce paid plans in the future (estimated $50/month)
• Early access users will be notified at least 30 days before any pricing changes
• We will never charge your card without your explicit consent

7. Intellectual Property

• Our stuff: The platform, prompt templates, and underlying technology are owned by Advisor Intelligence
• Your stuff: You own the content you generate using our platform
• Your inputs: Any profile information or feedback you provide remains yours

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any losses, damages, or consequences arising from your use of AI-generated content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

In plain language: We build the tool. You decide how to use the output. If AI-generated content causes problems because you didn't review it or it didn't comply with your firm's policies, that's your responsibility, not ours.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uptime. We rely on third-party services (Anthropic's Claude API, Supabase, Vercel) and are not responsible for their outages.

10. Changes, Termination & Governing Law

We may update these terms from time to time with notice via email or in-app notification. You can delete your account at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with disputes resolved in San Diego County courts.
